Four Oscillators Per Polyphonic Voice

Each oscillator (Osc 1, Osc 2, Osc 3, and Osc 4) offers Sine, Square, Saw, Triangle, Pulse, Noise, SinePulse, and SuperSaw waveforms, all band-limited using polyBLEP anti-aliasing for clean, professional sound.

Per-Oscillator Modulation

Every oscillator (Osc 1–4) has its own independent filter (Low Pass, High Pass, or Flat/bypassed), filter envelope, amplitude envelope, and LFO — giving enormous per-sound shaping power.

LFOs With 5 Waveforms

LFOs target pitch (vibrato), level (tremolo), pan (auto-pan), or filter cutoff. Ring modulation is available between oscillator pairs for harmonic and metallic textures.

16-Voice Polyphony

Up to 16 voices with portamento/glide, pitch bend, and mod wheel support built in. Full expressive performance capability out of the box.

Global Effects Chain

Phaser, Chorus, Delay, and Reverb — each with detailed controls and wet/dry mix — run after the synthesis engine for polished, production-ready sound.

5-Band EQ & Compressor

A parametric EQ with interactive visual curve display plus a compressor with real-time input/output metering and gain reduction display.

Interactive Visualisers

ADSR envelopes, filter response, EQ curve, compressor curve, and real-time spectrum analyser — see your sound as you shape it.

157 Factory Presets

A broad library covering pads, leads, basses, arpeggios, keys, and more. Save, load, and delete your own presets with undo/redo throughout.

Virtual Keyboard & MIDI Input

Play directly from the on-screen virtual keyboard at the bottom of the UI — no MIDI controller needed. Connect a MIDI keyboard and it works automatically. Pitch bend and mod wheel are fully supported, with real-time pitch and mod visualisers.

MIDI CC Control

Key parameters respond to MIDI control change messages out of the box: CC 74 (filter brightness), CC 71 (resonance), CC 73 (attack), CC 72 (release), CC 7 (master volume), CC 10 (pan), CC 5 (glide), CC 1 (mod wheel / LFO depth), CC 64 (sustain pedal). All CCs update the UI instantly and are fully automatable in your DAW.

⚠ Windows Installation Note

Because Bluewave has not yet been signed with a code-signing certificate, Windows may display a security prompt. This is normal for independent software. Follow these steps:

Step 1 — Complete the download in Edge
  1. When Edge shows "This file isn't commonly downloaded", click the … (three dots) next to the blocked download.
  2. Click Keep.
  3. Click Show more → Keep anyway.
Step 2 — If Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer
  1. When you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.
